Rock those Socks
When it's raining outside, it sucks to have soggy socks. I usually pair my high socks with some combat boots to prevent the water from seeping in. Also, my socks will NEVER slide down. It's the perfect combination! It's also a nice way to incorporate different patterns into your outfit without being too overwhelming!

Fall Wardrobe Staples (Tops)
Fall Layering Must Haves (Upper Body)
Fall can be tricky to dress for. Here in Southern California, Fall is a mixture of chilly, foggy morning and a bright, warm, and sunny afternoon. Then the evenings really depend and can vacillate from being in the low 80's to maybe the low 70's.
I've learned to dress in layers and I've befriended light weight cardigans and jackets that can be easily slipped on and off.
My must haves at the moment include
- A light weight scarf
- A white tank top
- A plum t-shirt
- A cozy white knit swear
- A casual black speckled sweater
- A denim jacket
- An anorak jacket
The way I put my outfits together is based on the weather that day. If the afternoon will be warmer, I'll wear either my loose white tank or the plum tee with the denim jacket or the anorak or a cardigan. I slip on black jeans and some combat boots and I'll be out the door. If the day is chillier, I'll throw on a sweater on top of a tank or I'll simple wear the swear with my anorak. I'd bring a scarf just for extra warmth!
Of course, depending on where you live (geographically) weather varies differently so don't wear just a tank and a jacket if you live in New York City haha You would definitely need to bundle up there!

Catober Closet Prblems
What do you wear in the fall when the mornings are nice and chilly, but the afternoons warm and sunny? It's not ideal to wear long pants and a jacket, since you would have to carry the jacket around school and suffer from overheating. My solution: Re-wear your summer attire and add a fall jacket! Thin, light-weight jackets will keep you warm in the morning and can be easily removed in the afternoon! There's just something about jackets/cardigans with shorts that just scream "Fall is here!"

Reminiscing Relaxation
I miss those lazy, warm summer days.
Summer, you were good to me. I definitely enjoyed touring UC Berkley and walking on the Golden Gate Bridge.
